Vintage Omega Seamaster Crosshair Automatic Unishell Case 60’s

An amazing, mint vintage Omega Seamaster Automatic men’s watch. The stainless steel case with gorgeous sunburst, silver dial with crosshair is in perfect condition. Stick indexes can be found, with a date display at the 3 o’clock position. The crown is all original, and is Omega signed. Beautifully clean golden hands indicate the correct time. Inside, we find an automatic movement that is working accurately. The case back shows the “Hippocampus” symbol commonly found on Seamasters, as well as the “Waterproof” designation. This watch has been checked by our watchmaker and functions perfectly. He, unfortunately, forgot to communicate the reference number and caliber number. Due to the nature and mint-ness of the case (uni-shell) and to not harm the original crystal, we decided to keep it like this. If you are interested in this watch and this holds you back, please let us know so we can commonly decide whether to open it again. The watch is fitted on a black leather strap with original Omega buckle attached.

What we love:

OMEGA Seamaster

Launched in 1948 and never left the watch scene. The Omega Seamaster is arguably the most iconic Omega watch ever produced. In 1956 something extraordinary happened. In the winter of 1956, Omega technicians put the Seamaster to an extreme test. They strapped it to Canadian pacific airways flight 302 which would land in Amsterdam and took the Polar Route. After almost 9 hours of extreme conditioning, the Seamaster was tested and all functions worked properly and it held time correctly. An amazing accomplishment for Omega once again.
