Vintage Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 166.0128

1,100

During the late 1960s and early/mid 1970s Omega introduced a series of watches under the name “Seamaster Cosmic”. The “Cosmic” line was Omega’s attempt to capitalize on the space-age that characterized the era. Omega does no longer produces watches under the “Cosmic’’ line. The watch we offer you is the Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 reference 166.0128. It houses the caliber 1012 which features a quickset date function. The case measures 37mm excluding crown. The steel case and silver dial combo paired with a black leather strap give this watch a classic look.
What we love:
-Beautiful silver dial
What you should know:
-Small damage on the edges of the right side of the dial. Barely visible when wearing.

OMEGA Seamaster

back to 1948, the birth year of the Seamaster CK 2518. The model, when released, was to be a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the company. What made the Seamaster revolutionary at the time was its use of a rubber gasket for its water resistance. The technology was the same used in submarines at that time and remains in use even today.
