Description
Omega is one of the world’s most iconic watch brands. Formerly known as La Generale Watch Co., it was founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848. In 1903 they changed their name to Omega and subsequently became part of the Swiss Swatch Group in 1982 when they officially adopted the name Omega SA. Throughout its history, Omega has been dedicated to producing exceptional quality timepieces that stand the test of time. The Chronostop was originally launched as a Seamaster model but in 1967 the line was transferred to the ”Geneve” collection.
The anthracite grey textured racing dial turned brownish and features applied steel batons with lume pips marking the hours and a Chronostop single pusher at 2 o’clock to engage, stop, read the seconds and reset. Inside beats omega’s manually wound caliber 920 which offers 17 jewels and 21,600 beats per hour for precise timekeeping. This classic Omega Geneve Chronostop is sure to be an elegant addition to any collection.
