Vintage Omega ´Early´ Seamaster 2576-10 from 1949
In 1949 the first Omega Seamasters appeared with the references 2576 and 2577. The 2576 being the more exclusive one of the two with its sub-seconds feature. These early Seamasters did not have the Seamaster print on the dial yet, only later being added after 1950. This simple design Seamaster have truly stood the test of time being a working powerhouse for more than 70 years since it was made.
This gorgeous Seamaster was made in 1949 and houses the Omega Cal. 342 bumper automatic movement. With a beautifully patinated dial that features an applied Omega logo and art deco style 3-9-12 hour markers. Combined with amazing intact lume plots and a sunken sub-dial indicating the seconds this dial is extremely classy. The 34.5mm stainless steel case features a screw-down case back and an original Omega crown. The condition on this watch is excellent. The case has had a little bit of polishing in its time and the crystal has a very minor scratch. The dial is in untouched condition and has a gorgeous patina.
