Vintage Omega Constellation Jumbo 168.001 1966 w/ BoR bracelet

A rare and beautiful stainless steel jumbo 37mm constellation from 1966 (24xxxxxx). Produced solely for the Asian market.
The dial has some very light spotting (nearly invisible with the normal eye) but I would say it’s one of the better examples out there (considering the moist environment in Asia). Comes with the original Omega 3010 Beads of Rice bracelet which is the successor of the 1036 bracelet with the correct and 19mm NOS 517 end links which are impossible to find. The crystal is Omega signed and the watch comes as a set, with the original Omega box. The crown is original and Omega signed. All in all the best example out there.

What we love:
-Original crystal, buckle, and crown
-Great condition overall
-Rare jumbo case size

What you should know:
-The watch was checked on all functions and accuracy. No service was deemed necessary by our expert watchmaker (movement pictures available).

OMEGA Constellation

First appearing in 1952, the Constellation was designed to be Omega’s main watch. This was the brand’s first mass-produced chronometer grade wristwatch and the brainchild of designer René Bannwart. The Constellation was originally called the ‘Globemaster’ in the USA, though it was dropped in 1956 as Douglas Aircraft, manufacturers of the huge transport planes of the same name, held the trademark on the name.
