In the late 1950s demand for simple yet exclusive timepieces was sky high. With simplicity and elegance in mind, Omega`s designers and engineers started their journey towards the perfect wrist watch. So, in 1957 Omega launched their new iteration of the Seamaster line, The Omega Seamaster 14700. The watch we are presenting today surely meets all those requirements! Born in Switzerland in 1961 this Seamaster combines a stainless steel case with golden details and a beautiful cream dial. The applied gold Omega logo matching the gold dauphine hands and hour markers creates the perfectly balanced dial layout Omega`s designers were striving towards.

This Seamaster features another special detail: The font used for the Seamaster text is the original font also used on the first Seamasters. All these small details combined with its 34mm size make this simple watch truly a stunner. This watch is running on the sturdy cal. 552 automatic winding movement and has beautifully aged patina in its lume plots and hands. This watch is in good condition for its age with the case having some minor scratches. The dial has a small scuff at the 4 o’clock position.
