Vintage Omega Genève 136.0102 ´Bronze Sunburst´ from 1972
The Omega Genève line that began being popularized in the late 1960s has always been Omega´s playful line. With many interesting dial colors, layouts and case shapes these series of watches have always been the subject of trying new things. This playful character can be seen in this beautiful example of an Omega Genève 136.0102 with a brown sunburst dial!
This amazing Genève was born in 1972 and runs on the manual wound cal. 1030 movement made by Omega. This great movement is placed inside the 36mm stainless steel case which features thick study lugs, a smooth bezel and a screwdown caseback with Omega logo. The most important thing about this watch is of course the amazing brown/bronze Sunburst dial. This awesome dial finish plays with the light in such a way you can look at it for hours! The dial also features tritium lume plots and has white hour and minute hands, creating an interesting contrast between the dial color and hands. The condition of this watch is good. Some scratches on the case and bezel indicate that this has not been polished. Some of the lume plots have a tiny bit of damage but are in overall good condition.
What we love:
- Amazing bronze sunburst dial
- Contrasting white hands
- Thick lugs
What you should know:
- Some minor scratches on the case
- Tiny bit of damage on the lume plots
