A very special 14 carat golden watch with extremely beautiful fancy lugs. Not often seen in Europe as it’s a US production case made by DiVincenzo and Arienti.
D & A Belove & Ariente Watch Case Co Inc (assignee of Di Vincenzo & Arienti Watch Case Corporation) was based in New York and made the case for Norman Morris, the sole US agent for Omega watches at the time. This particular watch is very rare and after some research it was found in the 1955 Norman Morris Omega catalogue. The watch itself comes from 1950 (12xxxxxx). The reference number derived from there is BX6548. You rarely come across an Omega watch with Breguet numerals, a sub seconds part, 18k golden applied dial figures and a solid 14k gold case with fancy lugs. The case is 33,5 mm in diameter and the watch has its original crown. To make it even better and more rare, this particular watch has the original Omega marked leather band and buckle. All in all a piece that you won’t see another time. This is your chance to own the golden king of rarity!
What we love:
- Rare Breguet numerals
- Rare D & A caseback marking
- Original Omega band and buckle
What you should know
- The buckle is extremely old and has some oxidation marks on the pictures. This has been removed.
