Beautiful Omega Seamaster 2791-6 from 1954 (14xxxxxx). This watch houses a sturdy and reliable caliber 266 manual wound movement and was serviced by our expert watchmaker in September 2020.
The big oversize case with beautiful downward turned lugs is in excellent condition with all original bevels and unpolished. The snap-off caseback is in great condition with minor wearing marks. This watch was part of the unmarked Omega Seamaster period where they would not mark all watches with the “seamaster” text (for more see: https://www.omegawatches.com/watch-omega-seamaster-omega-ko-2791).
The movement of the watch is clean, running strong and keeps time accurately. The dial is an amazing original two-tone dial with applied golden spear indices and applied Omega logo. The stylish small seconds part and overall natural patine makes this watch extremely attractive. The golden hands are original and in excellent condition. The Omega crystal is serviced and not original, the crown is original and Omega signed.
Overall an amazing timepiece that wears beautifully and which is ready for the coming years!
