Let’s get right to it; you obviously want this watch for the dial. And you know what? We totally get you. This 35 mm Seamaster from the 1960’s houses a beautiful light coloured “linen” dial, giving it a gorgeous soft look. The sharp stick indices and polished Omega logo applied to the dial create a sharp contrast to the dial, making looking at the watch a truly interesting experience. Protecting this dial and the pencil hands above it, is the original Omega crystal – with the Omega logo engraved in the acrylic glass just above the hand stack.
This crystal has a slight dome which, in combination with the dial, plays beautifully with the light. On the case back, the iconic Hippocampus is engraved. The beating heart of this watch is the cal. 552 movement. There is no date complication present on this specific model, which doesn’t draw attention away from the dial – giving the watch an even cleaner look.
What we love:
-Beautiful silver dial
-Wears larger than 35mm
-Amazingly all-round
What you should know:
-Small “dot” at the “G” of the “OMEGA” text
